What Experience Are You Creating…?

Just recorded this in town this morning while out with my son…some key thoughts on creating an experience–after seeing thought leader & brand consultant Matthew Sapaula last night–applicable to both business and personal relationships. A bit dim because I’m next to a fireplace, but you’ll get the gist…Enjoy! And let me know your own stories in life and business of “creating an experience” in the comments below!

  1. You always get me thinking, Ben! What you said today reminds me of a guiding concept while teaching First Graders . . . create the experiences in the classroom that feel fun and safe while learning and stretching to challenges. The student may not remember what a teacher specifically said, but will always remember how that teacher made him or her feel.

The same concept is illustrated during this season, in our repeating the same favorite holiday traditions each year.

I am learning that the same concept rings true while building my business . . . Get in touch with your Good, good vibrations (Beach Boys) no matter where you are and the experience you create will be mighty fine . . .

  2. Glad this triggered something in you, Peggy, and thanks for the great examples and applications. Your reminder of what students remember is applicable to all of our relationships – business and personal – and to parents in particular!

  3. Thank you for the wonderful reminder of me being the creator, and not only of my own life but also I can create wonderful things into the lives of others 😀
